" CxR festival one was no easy road. I was a young woman with almost no idea what I was doing. I lead by faith that everything would turn out great and by the grace of God it did. The growth since then has been unreal. I believe if I don't grow after every event there's something I didn't do right! Most of all, I thank all the wonderful people who were involved in this show, I am who I am today because of who they were."

In a time where the fashion community was growing a 20 year old college student decided she wanted become to change she wanted to see in Detroit. Rose Hobson, Owner of Code x Rose (formerly Carmella x Rosella) goes to create one the biggest fashion shows of the summer. In her reign during this time their wasn't a single fashion show she didn't have her hands in.
